Previous Projects

Since its establishment in 2004, with the main objective of ensuring the respect, protection, promotion and fulfilment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms and developing national human rights protection mechanisms that meet the highest international standards, the GIHR has provided Human Rights training in the Middle East and  North Africa (MENA) to human rights defenders and public institutions, empowering them to access and apply International Human Rights procedures, standards and mechanisms.

 

GIHR has also delivered capacity building and advocacy services to different governmental and non-governmental organizations that protect the rights of individuals with a special focus on women and children in the African and MENA Region.
