INTERNSHIPS

Internship applications at GIHR are accepted throughout the year.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are requested to provide the Institute with a letter of recommendation from a University, academic foundation or a well-known institution in the area of Human Rights or related area. Please note that a small stipend will be given to the intern. However, Geneva Institute for Human Rights has no provision to cater for other reimbursements such as living expenses or accommodation costs. These fall on the responsibility of the intern.

Furthermore, GIHR accepts no responsibility for costs that may arise due to accidents or illness during the time of the internship. Thus, interns will have to provide proof of their enrolment in a health insurance scheme, and a document showing eligibility to work in Switzerland.
