Realising Human Rights in the Arab Region through annual training course for human rights defenders from the MENA+ region.

​

• Training course on Human Rights for Kuwaiti judges and public prosecutors; co-organized with the regional office of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and legal Studies (KIJLS).

​

• In partnership with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), GIHR organized a training course on the Human Rights Concept and Mechanisms for the staff members of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and

​

• Humanitarian Action in Mauritania.

​

• Training course on the role of NGOs in regards to UN human rights mechanisms; provided to the staff members of  the newly established NGO in Geneva - “Centre for Justice and Human Rights' '.

•  Promoting and Realising Human Rights in Libya through: Training course on Human rights concept and mechanisms for members of the House of representatives in Libya and Advanced Training for members of the House of Representatives and Diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Libya on the Role of the Human Rights Council in cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR)

• Human Rights Partnership with CNDH Morocco. In addition, building and strengthening national Human Rights institutions in Morocco through training on Human Rights Protection Mechanisms for Members and Staff Members of the National Human Rights Council and Civil Society in Morocco.

​

• Side event on “Women in situation of Armed Conflict in the Arab region” co-organized with the Arab Institute for Human Rights and The Democratic Forum for women in transitional societies.
