• Provided training on human rights standards for the first time for Al Jazeera network staff members, including producers, broadcasters and other program staff.

​

• Conducted training on “The International Protection Mechanisms on the Rights of the Child” with the Syrian Commission for Family Affairs.

​

• Training on Human Rights Standards for the Sudanese Police Force, in collaboration with the Sudanese Ministry of Interior.

​

• Geneva Study Tour co-organized with Freedom House for human rights defenders from the Arab region on the International Human Rights Mechanisms.

​

• Training of Trainers for the Syrian Police Force, co-organized with the Syrian Ministry of Interior and the support of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

​

• Conducted 7 Regional Training Courses in Geneva on the role of the United Nations Working Group of the Human Rights Council on the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) for human rights defenders from the MENA region.

​

• Realising and promoting human rights in Sudan through:

  • Training focused on the role of the Human Rights Council, with the Sudanese Bar Association.

  • Training on the Human Rights Standards with the Sudanese Police Force, in collaboration with the Sudanese Ministry of Interior.

• Training on the International Human Rights Protection Mechanisms with the Moroccan Ministry of Justice.
