The Executive Director of the Geneva Institute for Human Rights (GIHR), Nazar Abdelgadir, affirmed their support for the Sudanese Journalists Syndicate (SJS) in general, and the defense of freedoms and human rights in particular.
The Geneva Institute for Human Rights and the Sudanese Journalists Syndicate agreed in a joint meeting held yesterday, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 on signing a memorandum of understanding during the next week, relating to the implementation of joint programs regarding the training of journalists and the security and safety cases of journalists and the anticipation of impunity, as well as raising capacities in connection with gender issues.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Adel Sharif, the director of GIHR Sudan office and Ms. Doha Essam, and by the SJS, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, the Secretary General and Taher Al -Mu'tasim, Secretary of foreign relations.
