44th Session of the UN Human Rights Council: 6th of July 2020

The 44th session of the UN Human Rights Council is taking place in Geneva from 30 June to 21 July 2020. During this session, the Council will review reports on a wide range of human rights issues and situations of concern, particularly the the promotion and protection of all human rights (civil, political, economic, social and cultural), including the right to development.


Furthermore the council will engage in over 30 interactive dialogues with human rights experts, groups and mechanisms. That includes an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, followed by a discussion of the following reports:

- Report of the Working Group on the issue of discrimination against women and girls,

- Report of the Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants

- Report of the Special Rapporteur on the elimination of discrimination against persons affected by Leprosy and their family members.
